The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care and Early Years education while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing nursery team
- Ensuring outstanding standards of care, education, and EYFS delivery
- Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
- Maintaining compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
- Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Monitoring children’s progress and promoting inclusive learning opportunities
- Supporting staff development through coaching, training, and mentoring
- Managing nursery operations, policies, and procedures
- Promoting a positive culture that supports children, families, and colleagues
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding Early Years education
- A commitment to supporting and developing staff
