Because trust is everything

The checks behind every Tinies professional – and why they work for you

Vetting that builds trusted careers

Our candidates are trusted with children, families, homes and early years settings, so our registration and compliance process is thorough by design. Before working with Tinies, candidates will be asked to provide a full career history going back five years, suitable reference details, proof of right to work, relevant qualifications, safeguarding certification and any role-specific training or certificates required.

Candidates will also need to complete the appropriate checks for the work they are applying for, including an enhanced DBS or PVG check where required, alongside HMRC checks and any additional compliance steps relevant to the role. This process helps us understand your experience, confirm your suitability and place you into work with confidence, care and professionalism.

We do not just match people to jobs. We help childcare professionals build trusted, rewarding careers.

What you complete when you register

  1. A full five-year career history

So we understand your experience and place you with confidence.

  2. Validated references

Suitable references, verified rather than simply collected.

  3. Right-to-work and identity checks

Proof of your eligibility to work in the UK.

  4. Relevant qualifications

Confirmed for the roles you are seeking.

  5. Safeguarding and role-specific training

Safeguarding certification and any certificates the work requires.

  6. Enhanced DBS or PVG, plus HMRC checks

To the highest applicable standard, where the role requires it.

Fifty years of childcare experience. A fresh future ahead.

We do not just fill gaps. We help people make confident decisions.

Tinies began in 1975 as a specialist nanny agency. Since then, we have grown into one of the UK’s best-known childcare recruitment brands, supporting families, candidates, nurseries and employers nationwide. Today, we do much more than childcare.

Now under private ownership and led by CEO Claire Adams, Tinies is entering an exciting new chapter: building on our heritage, investing in our people and shaping the future of family-focused staffing across the UK.
