This is a full time role, all year round.
To apply for this Early Years Educator job candidates must have:
• A minimum full and relevant level 2 / 3 or equivalent Childcare / Early Years qualification
• Previous early years experience and experience working with 0-5 year olds
• Keyworker experience and experience using IT such as Tapestry for writing reports, observations and tracking development
• A good understanding of the EYFS
• Paediatric first aid and safeguarding training. (Tinies can assist)
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. (Tinies can assist)
• The right to work in the UK
• Candidates must be able to provide employer / education referees covering the last 5 years and be able to explain any gaps
Duties for this Early Years Educator job include:
• All childcare duties
• Being assigned a group of children and undertaking Keyworker duties
• Planning educational and fun activities that incorporate the EYFS
• Supervising play and activities both inside and outdoors
• Effectively working as a team with colleagues, management, families and carers to ensure the needs of each child are met
• To accompany colleagues to home visits to children and their families, in consultation with other team members, as and when required.
