    About the Role

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and caring Room Leader to join our dedicated early years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who is committed to delivering outstanding care and education while creating a warm, safe, and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

    As a Room Leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your room, leading your team to provide exceptional learning experiences and ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and wellbeing for every child.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and support your room team to deliver high-quality early years education and care.

    Create a safe, stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play.

    Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

    Monitor children’s progress through observations, assessments, and learning journals.

    Ensure children’s individual needs are met and their development is supported.

    Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress.

     Maintain accurate records and ensure all nursery policies and procedures are followed.

    Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and safeguarding at all times.

    Support the induction, mentoring, and development of team members within the room.

     Ensure your room remains well-organised, welcoming, and fully compliant with statutory requirements.

     What We’re Looking For

    The successful candidate will have:

    A full and relevant  Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.

    A minimum of 2 years’ experience  working in an early years childcare setting.

    Experience leading a room or supporting a team within a nursery environment.

    Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.

     Excellent communication and organisational skills.

    A positive, caring, and professional approach.

    A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
