About the Role
We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years professional who is genuinely passionate about working with children and supporting their learning, development and wellbeing. You will be joining a close-knit team that works collaboratively to create a nurturing, engaging and positive environment for every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Plan and support fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Support children’s learning, development and independence.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Carry out observations and contribute to children’s learning and development records.
- Support children with their daily routines and personal care where required.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and hygiene.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team.
What We’re Looking For
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare that is recognised as full and relevant.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
- * Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities
- Reliable, committed and motivated to provide high-quality childcare.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
