Job Description:

• Nursery Manager
  • Position: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
  • Salary: From £43,000 per annum, depending on experience

  We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming Early Years setting on a full-time, permanent basis.
  This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Nursery Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading and developing the team while ensuring consistently high standards of care, education and safeguarding.
  
  The Role

  • As Nursery Manager, you will:
  • Lead the day-to-day management and successful operation of the nursery.
  • Inspire, support and develop the nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
  • Ensure the nursery provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Maintain excellent standards in line with the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
  • Support staff development through coaching, training and regular performance management.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, carers and the wider community.
  • Oversee occupancy, staffing and the effective organisation of the setting.
  • Ensure policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are consistently followed.
  • Promote a positive, supportive and professional nursery culture.

  
  What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience within nursery management or senior Early Years leadership.
  • A relevant Early Years qualification, ideally Level 3 or above.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
  • Confident leadership and people-management skills.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • A proactive and positive approach to leading a nursery team.
  • A genuine commitment to providing outstanding outcomes for children.
