We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established 60-place nursery in Battersea for an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader looking to take the next step in their career or continue developing within a supportive nursery environment.
About the Role
Working closely alongside a calm, approachable, and experienced Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery. You will support, motivate, and lead the team while helping to maintain high standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about Early Years, enjoy mentoring others, and thrive in a collaborative environment where children and staff are supported to reach their full potential.
What We’re Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
A minimum of 2 years’ management experience within an Early Years setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
A positive, proactive, and supportive approach to team management
Good knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding childcare
