    About the Role

    We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated Early Years professional looking to take the next step in their leadership career or continue developing their management experience within a supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities


    •  Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
    •  Lead, motivate and support the nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education.
    • Help maintain high standards in line with the EYFS, safeguarding and nursery policies.
    •  Support staff development, mentoring and performance management.
    • Ensure the nursery maintains high standards of health, safety and compliance.
    •  Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
    • Support with staffing, room management and daily operational responsibilities.
    • Step into the Nursery Manager’s role when required.
    • Promote a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture.

    What We’re Looking For

    • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above.
    •  Previous leadership or management experience within an Early Years setting.
    • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
    • A positive, proactive and supportive approach to managing and developing a team.
    • Good knowledge of the **EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
    • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education.
    •  The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
