We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated Early Years professional looking to take the next step in their leadership career or continue developing their management experience within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
Lead, motivate and support the nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education.
Help maintain high standards in line with the EYFS, safeguarding and nursery policies.
Support staff development, mentoring and performance management.
Ensure the nursery maintains high standards of health, safety and compliance.
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Support with staffing, room management and daily operational responsibilities.
Step into the Nursery Manager’s role when required.
Promote a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture.
What We’re Looking For
A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above.
Previous leadership or management experience within an Early Years setting.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
A positive, proactive and supportive approach to managing and developing a team.
Good knowledge of the **EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education.
The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
