Job Description:

• Preschool Room Leader / Third in Charge
  Salary: £33,000–£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm
  Start: September
  An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Preschool Room Leader / Third in Charge to join a modern, purpose-built nursery. You’ll lead the Preschool Room for children aged 3–5 while supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting. This is an ideal opportunity for an established Preschool Room Leader looking to take on additional leadership responsibilities and continue progressing within Early Years.

  Responsibilities
  Lead and manage the Preschool Room
  Plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning
  Support children’s development and school readiness
  Lead, coach and support the room team
  Maintain accurate observations and assessments
  Build positive relationships with parents
  Maintain high safeguarding and care standards
  Support management as Third in Charge
  Take responsibility for the setting when required
  
  Requirements

  Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  QTS, EYTS or Early Years degree ideally

  Must currently be a Preschool Room Leader
  Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
  Proven leadership and supervisory experience
  Experience working with children aged 3–5
  Confident, organised and professional approach

  Please note: Acting Room Leaders, Deputy Room Leaders covering a Room Leader position, and candidates without current Preschool Room Leader experience cannot be considered.

  This is an urgent September vacancy, although a later start of up to two months may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
