    About the Role

    We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team in N22

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
    • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.
    • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
    • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
    • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
    • Support children’s personal care and daily routines.
    • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene.
    • Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team to ensure the highest standards of childcare.

    Essential Requirements

    • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent recognised childcare qualification).
    • A genuine passion for working with young children.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities.
    • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality childcare.

    Desirable

    • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
    • Baby room experience is advantageous but not essential.
    • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
    • Paediatric First Aid certificate (desirable).

    Working Hours

    • 24 hours per week
    • Shifts are scheduled between 7:30am and 6:30pm.
    • Flexible working patterns may be available, including a 4-day working week where operationally possible.
