Job Description:

  • We are working with a nursery in the Salisbury SP4 are who are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team. You will work alongside the dedicated nursery staff to deliver high-quality care, learning and development for children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels happy, secure and valued.
    This is a full time positions 40-42.5 hours per week all year round
    Salary £13.35 – £13.70 per hour depending on qualification and experience

    Requirements
    • Must hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent)
    • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
    • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS statutory framework
    • Good communication and organisational skills

    Key Responsibilities
    • Plan and deliver engaging activities that meet each child’s individual needs and interests
    • Observe, assess and record children’s progress in line with EYFS
    • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
    • Maintain a safe, clean and inclusive learning environment
    • Uphold all nursery policies, health and safety and safeguarding procedures
