Job Description:

• Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)

  • Godalming, GU7 
  • £13.50 – £16.50 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience) 
  • 38 hours per week over 4 days 
  • Part-time hours also considered

  The Role

  As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in supporting children aged 0-5 years to learn, develop, and thrive through engaging play and meaningful experiences. Working as part of a dedicated team, you’ll help create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment where children feel confident, secure, and inspired to explore.

  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years
  • Supporting children’s learning through play and planned activities
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Supporting individual development and learning goals
  • Assisting with observations and assessments
  • Helping with daily care routines, mealtimes, and transitions
  • Promoting children’s wellbeing, confidence, and independence
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment

  About You

  We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified to CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare (essential)
  • Experienced within an Early Years or nursery setting
  • Passionate about supporting children’s development
  • Caring, enthusiastic, and proactive
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Committed to delivering outstanding care and learning opportunities
  • A current Enhanced DBS check is required, or a willingness to obtain one.
