Daily Responsibilities:
– Support children at meal times – Nappy changing and personal care – Engage in play and extend learning – Support independence – Use positive reinforcement – Support emotions and behaviour – Manage challenging behaviour calmly – Embed learning into play
Safeguarding & Welfare:
– Follow safeguarding procedures – Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing – Maintain confidentiality
Health & Safety:
– Maintain a safe environment – Follow health & safety procedures – Support routines including meals and hygiene
Person Specification:
Essential: – Level 2 or 3 qualification – Good knowledge of EYFS – Experience with toddlers Desirable: – Paediatric First Aid – SEND knowledge
