    About the Role
    We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming nursery team in PE1 on a full-time, permanent basis.
    Working 40 hours per week throughout the year, you will support children with their learning, development and daily routines while helping to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality care and support to children throughout the nursery day
    Plan and deliver fun, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences
    Support children’s social, emotional, physical and educational development
    Observe children’s development and contribute to appropriate records and assessments
    Support individual routines, including meals, rest periods and personal care
    Encourage children’s independence, confidence and curiosity
    Develop positive relationships with parents and carers
    Maintain a clean, safe and engaging nursery environment
    Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures at all times
    Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the setting

    About You
    We are looking for someone who:
    Is passionate about working with children and supporting their development
    Is caring, patient, positive and approachable
    Has experience within a nursery or Early Years settingIs a strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
    Is reliable, organised and able to use their initiative
    Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
    Is enthusiastic about creating positive and engaging experiences for young children
    Holds a relevant Early Years/Childcare qualification or equivalent
