We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Nurse to join a friendly nursery team in PE1 on a permanent, term-time basis.
Working 37 hours per week across 38 weeks of the year, you will provide high-quality care and support while helping children learn, develop and build confidence through engaging play and activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
Observe children’s progress and contribute to relevant records and assessments
Support children’s daily routines and individual care needs
Promote children’s independence, confidence and positive behaviour
Build strong and professional relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation within the nursery
Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality childcare
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children in an Early Years or nursery environment
Is caring, patient, enthusiastic and dependable
Has a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Communicates confidently with children, families and colleagues
Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
Understands the importance of safeguarding and children’s welfare
Is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, supported and valued
Holds a relevant Early Years/Childcare qualification or equivalent
