Up to £40,000 per annum 40 hours per week all year round
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a small and welcoming nursery caring for up to 29 children, offering a warm, cozy, and nurturing environment where children, families, and staff feel valued and supported. The Role
As the nursery manager you will be responsible to lead our setting, ensuring outstanding care, learning, safeguarding, and compliance. You’ll inspire and develop your team, build strong family relationships, and create a nurturing environment where children thrive
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Lead, support, and develop the staff team.
- Ensure EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted compliance.
- Maintain high standards of care and child development.
- Build positive relationships with families and professionals.
- Manage staffing, occupancy, and nursery resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive nursery culture.
About You
- Ideally hold a level 5 or above childcare qualification
- Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential) along with your Maths and English.
- Strong leadership skills
- Caring, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting children’s development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- A clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one
