The Family
A lovely German-speaking family based in Summertown, Oxford, are seeking a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to care for their 10-month-old baby.
German-speaking ability would be highly desirable, although this is not essential for the right candidate.
The Role
The successful nanny will provide attentive, nurturing and engaging care, supporting the baby’s development and daily routine.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing attentive and stimulating care for the 10-month-old baby
Planning age-appropriate play and activities to encourage learning and development
Preparing snacks and meals
Managing naps and maintaining the baby’s routine
Supporting the child’s ongoing development and wellbeing
Keeping children’s areas clean, tidy and organised
Carrying out general nanny duties as required
Working closely with the family’s established routines and preferences
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous professional childcare or nanny experience
Be confident and capable when caring for babies and young children
Have a warm, caring and proactive personality
Be reliable, organised and responsible
Be comfortable working independently and taking sole charge
Have good knowledge of baby routines, sleep and age-appropriate activities
Ideally speak German
Be able to commit to 3–4 mornings per week
A driving licence is not required, and parking is available for the nanny.
