A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, proactive, and organised Nanny/Housekeeper to care for their two school-aged children. This is a long-term position for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and enjoys supporting a busy family household.
The ideal candidate will have previous professional nanny experience, with a proven track record of remaining in a role for at least one year. They will be kind, nurturing, highly organised, and confident managing both childcare and household duties independently.

Hours
Term Time (approximately 33 weeks per year)
Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 7:30pm (later start may be possible)
Friday: 1:30pm – 7:00pm (later start may be possible)
Approximately 27.5 hours per week
School Holidays (approximately 19 weeks per year)
Monday & Thursday: 12:30pm – 6:30pm
Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:30am – 6:30pm
Friday: Not required
Approximately 32 hours per week
Average of 29 hours per week across the year.
There is flexibility with the holiday hours for the right candidate, and the family may also consider maintaining the 27.5-hour term-time schedule throughout the year if preferred. Salary would be adjusted accordingly.
Duties
School pick-ups during term time using the family’s automatic car.
Providing attentive and engaging care for both children.
Preparing healthy, nutritious meals.
Washing and ironing the children’s clothing.
Keeping the children’s bedrooms clean, tidy, and organised.
Maintaining a tidy kitchen and living areas after the children’s use.
Unpacking grocery deliveries.
Running household errands.
General light housekeeping duties to help the household run smoothly.
Additional Hours
Occasional evening babysitting (approximately once every fortnight) by mutual agreement.
Essential Requirements
Previous professional nanny experience.
Ideally at least one year in a previous nanny position.
Safe and confident driver with a clean driving record.
Warm, caring, and approachable personality.
Reliable, proactive, and highly organised.
Able to work independently and use initiative.
Excellent spoken English.
Salary
£32,000–£34,500 gross per annum, depending on experience and agreed working hours.
