Job Description:

  • A warm and welcoming family in Reigate is seeking a fun, patient, and caring nanny to look after their two children, aged 6 years and almost 4 years old.

    This is a part-time maternity cover position for one year, starting in October 2026.

    Working Hours:

    Monday, Thursday and Friday

    7:30am to 6:30pm

    The Role: The family is looking for a nanny who can build a positive relationship with their children, support their daily routines, and work closely with the parents to meet their individual needs. You will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where the children can thrive.

    Duties will include:

    School runs for the eldest child

    Planning and organising engaging activities for the youngest child

    Supporting the children’s routines and development

    Preparing simple meals and snacks as required

    Encouraging learning, play, and creativity throughout the day

    Requirements:

    Experience caring for children of a similar age

    Previous experience working as a nanny or within family settings

    Paediatric First Aid certificate

    DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

    Excellent, checkable references

    A driver is preferred for this role; however, this is not essential for the right candidate.

    Salary: £17-£19 per hour gross
