The Role:
Care for a baby boy in a family home setting
Live-out position (local candidates preferred although they could accommodate a live-in nanny)
Support the family with day-to-day baby care and baby related duties
Warm, reliable, and hands-on help in a rural location
Ideal Candidate
Experience with young babies
Local to Ross-on-Wye / Herefordshire (or willing to travel easily)
Kind, calm, trustworthy, and proactive
Happy working in a rural family home
Excellent references essential
DBS check (or willing to obtain one)
Full UK driving licence and own car advantageous
Comfortable around dogs and cats
Details:
Location: Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire
Type: Live-out nanny
Hours: 40 hours a week 11am-7pm Monday to Friday would be ideal but they can be flexible
Start: October 2026 – little one is booked into nursery from September 2027 so it is likely the contract will end at that stage, although there is a possibility the contract could be extended.
Baby’s age: 6 weeks (current age as of August 2026).
