Job Description:

  • Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Rochester ME1 – Monday to Friday 45 hours – £31,847.40 per annum – ASAP start

    About the Nursery:
    This is a welcoming and well-established early years setting based in Rochester, focused on providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. The team is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education, supporting each child’s individual development through engaging and creative learning opportunities. As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive environment, build strong relationships with families, and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.

    Requirements:

    Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
    Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
    Previous experience working within an early years setting

    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    A full driving licence is desirable (due to potential relocation to another setting in Chatham or Gillingham if required following maternity cover)
    Responsibilities:

    Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
    Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing
    Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to individual needs
    Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
    Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
    Maintain accurate records and observations of children’s progress
