About the Role
As an Emergency Nanny, you will provide high-quality childcare for families requiring temporary support due to:
School or nursery closures
Child illness or recovery periods
Parent work commitments
Unexpected childcare emergencies
Holiday and temporary cover arrangements
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for adaptable and confident childcare professionals.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has previous professional sole charge/nannying experience
Holds a childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
Is confident caring for children of all ages
Can quickly build positive relationships with children and parents
Is reliable, organised and flexible
Has excellent communication skills
Holds a current DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
Has a paediatric first aid qualification
Key Responsibilities
Providing safe, nurturing childcare in the family home
Planning fun and engaging age-appropriate activities
Following family routines and instructions
Preparing meals and snacks for children
Supporting children’s learning and development
Maintaining a safe and positive environment at all times
