  • Early Years Practitioner – Level 2

    £26,561.60 per annum | 40 hours per week
    Working hours between 7.30am and 6.00pm

    Do you love helping children learn through play and creating fun, engaging experiences every day?

    Our client is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly nursery team in Market Harborough. Set within a beautiful three-storey Victorian house, the nursery cares for up to 47 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, providing a warm, nurturing environment where children can develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. The nursery is easily accessible, with a bus stop directly outside and the train station just a 20-minute walk away.

    The Role

    As a Level 2 Practitioner, you’ll play an important role in supporting children’s day-to-day learning, development and wellbeing.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Supporting children through play-based learning activities
    • Helping to create a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment
    • Encouraging children’s independence and development
    • Assisting with observations and learning records
    • Working closely with colleagues and parents to support each child’s individual needs
    • Ensuring safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met

    About You

    • Level 2 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential)
    • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
    • A warm, caring and positive approach
    • A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
    • An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one
