    We are looking for a bubbly, confident and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in SW18.     About the Role

    • Providing high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
    • Supporting children’s learning and development through planned and spontaneous play experiences.
    • Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress and contributing to their next steps.
    • Building positive and secure relationships with children and their families.
    • Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, independence, confidence and self-esteem.
    • Acting as a Key Person where appropriate.
    • Supporting children with additional needs and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
    • Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, welcoming and stimulating environment.
    • Following all safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene and nursery policies and procedures.
    • Working effectively as part of a professional nursery team.
    • Building positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
    • Attending training, staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

    Apprenticeship Opportunities

    Are you passionate about childcare but don’t yet have an Early Years qualification? We may also have apprenticeship opportunities available for individuals looking to start their career in Early Years. You will receive a combination of on-the-job experience and structured training, working alongside experienced Early Years professionals while working towards a recognised childcare qualification. Previous nursery experience is desirable. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is caring, reliable, committed and genuinely passionate about working with children.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Qualified Practitioner
    • A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, depending on the position.
    • Paediatric First Aid, where required.
    • Safeguarding Children training.
    • Apprenticeship Opportunities
    • Willingness to work towards a recognised Early Years qualification.
    • Previous childcare experience is desirable but may not be essential.
    • A genuine passion for working with children.
    • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
