  • Early Years Educator — Celebrate Messy Play, Creativity & Outdoor Adventures!

Contract Type:  Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Shifts – you control your working diary

Pay: £14.28 -£14.56 inclusive of holiday per hour, based on experience

    About the Role

Do you believe the best learning happens when hands get busy, clothes get colourful, and curiosity leads the way? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner who loves nothing more than getting stuck in alongside children — sparking imaginations through messy play, joyful mark-making, and exploring the wonders of the great outdoors.

At Tinies, we know that mud, paint, chalk, and garden adventures aren’t just fun — they’re how children learn to communicate, create, and connect with the world around them. If your ideal day includes paint-splattered smiles, discovering mini-beasts in the flowerbeds, and watching a child’s confidence grow as they make their very first marks, this role is for you.

    What You’ll Be Doing

You will be working within a variety of early years settings in the New Milton and surrounding areas. You have the flexibility to control your own working diary and set when you want to work. You will be working with a variety of ages supporting learning and development and using your love of messy play and exploration through fun and engaging activities alongside the permanent nursery staff team.

    Who You Are

Passionate about early years and truly enthusiastic about creative, outdoor, and sensory play

Experienced or qualified in childcare / early years (Level 2 / 3 or equivalent — please specify)

Confident working with children aged [Insert age range, e.g., 0–5 years]

Happy to get hands-on — no fear of a bit of mud or paint!

Observant, patient, and great at celebrating every child’s achievements.

Good communicator, a reliable team player, and committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare

Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK
