Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 3:00pm–7:00pm
Plus 5 hours of babysitting per week (including Friday evening)
Approximately 25 hours per week
Salary:
£25–£27 gross per hour

Family based in Kensington, with school attendance in Hammersmith.
The Role
A warm and engaging family is seeking an experienced and proactive after-school nanny to support their two daughters as they navigate different stages of childhood and adolescence.
The role requires someone who can provide structure, encouragement, and companionship for a busy 9-year-old, while offering a supportive and trusted presence for an increasingly independent 12-year-old.
Responsibilities
School collection and accompaniment to after-school activities
Supporting daily routines and ensuring consistency after school
Encouraging reading and music practice
Organising playdates and age-appropriate activities
Preparing healthy, nutritious family meals
Managing children’s schedules and coordinating activities
Maintaining children’s areas and the kitchen in a tidy and organised manner
Providing occasional babysitting as agreed

The family is looking for a nanny who is:

Organised and proactive with diary management
Confident supporting children of different ages and developmental stages
Reliable, professional, and adaptable
Enthusiastic about creating a positive and enjoyable after-school environment
Able to build trusting relationships with both children while respecting their individual needs
Requirements
Previous childcare experience with school-aged children
Excellent references
Enhanced DBS check
Standard childcare qualifications desirable
Driver not required
