• A family in a lovely village south Lincoln are looking for someone truly special to join their young loving family. We are looking for someone experienced and flexible to act as a Nanny/Housekeeper and basically ‘all-rounder’.
  
  The role will be caring for their two boys aged 6 and 3 years old and working in partnership with mum for sone of the time. All usual nanny duties when their youngest is at home , taking him to activities, swimming and time out on walks etc. The family have a cleaner so the housekeeping is mainly focused on the children’s areas and just general house tidying.
  
  
  The daily role is Monday to Thursday or Friday 7am-7pm
  
  Responsibilities
  
  • Support mum with the 2 children and working together as mother help
  
  • Support and encourage children's health care routines
  
  • Prepare and cook nutritional snacks and meals
  
  • Providing activities for the younger child and taking to activities
  
  • Assisting with general tidiness around the children
  
  • Taking to nursery and school
  
  • During school holidays take care of both children, plan days out
  
  • Support family with general home tidy and keeping communal areas clean and tidy
  
  Candidate requirements
  
  • Previous nanny experience
  
  • Holds Pediatric First aid and other nanny quals
  
  • Current DBS or willing to obtain (Tinies an support this)
  
  • Has a soft nature and kind, positive praise towards the children
  
  • Organised and is proactive
  
  • Has an active outgoing personality and keen to be part of the family
  
  • Confident driver
  
  • Travel on holidays with the family
  
  During a typical day you would be expected to assist the children with their breakfast, take them to school and then return to the family to complete nursery duties including the children's meals and other nanny duties. When the younger boy is a ta home take him to his activities and local walks etc. The family currently have a cleaner 2 days a week therefore the housekeeping is general keeping children’s areas clean and tidy and supporting the family with other jobs around the home.. In the afternoons you would pick the children up from school, assist with homework, organise play dates and take the children to their extra-curricular activities.
  
  Within the school holidays you would be expected to plan an eclectic range of activities that will engage the children. As well as be prepared to travel on some of their family holidays.
  
  The family do require a driver however will provide a car to be used on duty, should you have your own car there is parking provision on a daily basis.
  
  The family are passionate about finding a nanny who adores their chosen profession and loves what they do, someone who can be creative in their cooking, nurture the children offering a loving and warm environment.

  
  

  This role can be a live in position as the family have a full self contained studio apartment, complete with en suite, kitchen etc which is attached to the main house. Live in salary is negotiable please get in touch.
