  • Senior Room Leader

    Location: Small Montessori Nursery, Northwood

    Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-Time)

    A small and lovely Montessori nursery in Northwood is looking for a kind, responsible, and creative Senior Room Leader to join its dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with positive energy and a passion for early childhood education to take on a leadership role in a nurturing, child-centered environment.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare (or higher).

    Have previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a nursery setting.

    Be kind and approachable, fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.

    Bring positive energy to the team and create a welcoming atmosphere.

    Be a creative thinker, introducing engaging and innovative activities that align with Montessori principles.

    Demonstrate excellent responsibility and organizational skills to lead the room effectively.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Leading the room and ensuring that the highest standards of care and education are maintained.

    Planning and implementing fun, educational, and Montessori-inspired activities tailored to children’s developmental needs.

    Supervising and mentoring staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.

    Building strong relationships with parents and acting as a key point of contact for their children’s progress and wellbeing.

    Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies and safeguarding guidelines.

    Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children.
