    Location: ME17 (Boughton Monchelsea, Maidstone)
    Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
    Salary: £11.90 per hour

    About the Setting:
    Located in a beautiful Grade II listed barn in the heart of Boughton Monchelsea, Maidstone, this nursery has been providing exceptional care and education since 2011. Known for its unique charm and nurturing environment, the nursery offers children a safe, welcoming space where they can develop the confidence and skills they need to be ready for school.
    We are looking for a full-time Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3) to join our dedicated team, ensuring that our children continue to receive high standards of care and education.

    What We Need From You:
    A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
    Prior experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
    Knowledge of child development and understanding of children’s individual needs.
    Ability to work closely with parents/carers and build positive partnerships.
    Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both children and adults.
    Ability to work well as part of a team.
    Flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to take on additional duties as required.

    Your Duties Will Include:
    Taking charge of a key group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
    Planning and delivering rich learning opportunities that support children’s growth and development.
    Providing high-quality care, teaching, and learning to help children reach their milestones.
    Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of all children.
    Working in close partnership with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
    Using assessment to track children’s progress and tailor learning experiences to their needs.

    Ideal Candidate:
    You will have a genuine passion for early years education and a strong commitment to providing outstanding care for children.
    You will be experienced in working with young children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting, and have a solid understanding of child development.
    You should have excellent communication skills, both with children and adults, and enjoy being part of a team that values collaboration and partnership working.
