- A nursery in Ascot are looking for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team!Salary range £25,000 to £26,000 depending on experienceFull time - 40 hours across the week but can be flexible for the right candidate for 4 days a week
The nursery are looking for a practitioner to support the Montessori Teacher to ensure that children at the nursery are taught to the highest standards in a manner that is both consistent and compliant with the relevant statutory frameworks and the Nursery’s Montessori strategy
The Nursery Practitioner's focus will be to address and develop the following:

Job Role:
· Support the Montessori Teacher to ensure that the Nursery’s Daily Routines are followed.
· Support the requirements of children with special needs, with reference to the SEN Code of Practice, so that the company’s admission policy may be as inclusive as possible.
· Support the Key Montessori Teacher by completing planning and observations as delegated.
· Monitoring the nursery environment, resources and equipment to ensure that it provides a high quality learning space which offers children a wide range of experiences and supports their independence and decision making skills.
· Support the Montessori Teacher to set up and organise suitable learning and play activities in line with the EYFS, and Montessori principles and practice, to foster the growth, happiness and development of every individual child.
· Support the Montessori Teacher to maintain appropriate planning, observation and assessment procedures and keep records for individual children which can be shared with parents and other professionals.
· Support the Montessori Teacher to ensure the completion and submission of Two Year Progress Check and Foundation Stage Profile data.
· Support the Nursery Manager to ensure that supplies, stock and resources, such as nappies, gloves and resources for planned activities are ordered in sufficient time.
· Support the Montessori Teacher to ensure that all children’s care needs are met at all times.

After School Nanny: An after-school nanny cares for children once they finish school, for a minimum of 4 hours. Their responsibilities will include collecting from school or nursery, helping with homework, engaging in recreational activities and more.
Nanny/Housekeeper: A nanny housekeeper combines their childcare responsibilities with household management tasks, that relate to children in their care such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Live-In Nanny: A live-in nanny resides in the family home, with a private bedroom or private living quarters. They offer comprehensive childcare, including supervision, meal preparation, and overnight care when needed.
Holiday Nanny: A nanny hired to accompany a family on holiday, offering childcare and assistance throughout the trip, usually temporarily.
Nanny with New Born Experience: A nanny with newborn experience specialises in caring for infants. They have specialist knowledge in relation to feeding, sleep routines and developmental activities for the baby.
International Nanny: An international nanny provides childcare services to families living abroad or frequently travelling. International nannies adapt to diverse cultural environments, offering their expertise in child development, safety, and well-being.
Proxy Parenting: Proxy parenting involves a nanny temporarily taking on the role and responsibilities of a parent who needs to travel or be away for work, ensuring the child’s routine remains uninterrupted.
Weekend Nanny: A nanny who provides childcare during weekends, either as their primary role or in addition to a weekday job.
Scottish Tax Letter (Scotland Only): This service allows Scottish families to register their nannies in order to claim from a Childcare Voucher Scheme, Universal Credit or Tax-Free Childcare.
