• Accountable to: Nursery Manager
  Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care or equivalent
  
  Job purpose:
  To assist the Nursery Manager ensuring a high standard of physical, personal, emotional, social, and intellectual education and care for all children in the nursery. 
  
  

  Assist with supervision of and support to the team members within the nursery thereby implementing high standards of quality practices.
  
  

  Supporting the manager with ensuring the care offered meets Ofsted and EYFS standards.
  
  Main Duties:
  Operations - Support with the day-to-day running of the nursery etc. 
  
  Staff Management/ Development - ensuring staff are aware of responsibilities and modelling this etc. 
  
  Monitoring - keeping ratios, recruiting for vacancies etc. 
  
  Health & Safety - ensuing environment is maintained, carrying out risk assessments etc 
  
  Admin - assisting with all areas of administration
