About the Role:
This position is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager who has previously worked in a similar environment with children aged 0-5 years. The role involves working closely with the Nursery Manager to grow and support the team while ensuring outstanding standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
- Supporting the team in delivering an engaging and enriching curriculum in line with the EYFS framework.
- Assisting with medication administration and maintaining up-to-date care plans for children and staff with health conditions.
- Providing children with stimulating experiences, age-appropriate environments, and high-quality resources.
- Leading by example and inspiring the team with creativity, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
- Keeping accurate records on the EyMan system and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Helping to drive excellence and supporting the nursery in achieving outstanding practice.

Requirements:
Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare
At least 1 year of experience in an Early Years setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and regulatory requirements
Experience in a management role within Early Years
Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Leadership & Management
Previous experience in supporting a nursery through a successful Ofsted inspection
