A leading childcare nursery in the Bexleyheath area, with long-standing staff, is looking for a Level 3 Deputy Room Leader to join their team. The nursery is open 5 days a week, so we are looking for someone who can work 5 days, full-time within a shift pattern.

Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting, preferably with babies.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example.
- Passionate about providing high-quality childcare and education.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Room Leader in managing the day-to-day running of the baby room.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-2 years.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of the children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's activities and progress.
- Support and mentor junior staff members and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.
