    Overview:
    We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nursery Practitioner with a Level 2/3 qualification to join our team full time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, and will be committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Our nursery cares for children aged 6 months to 5 years, offering an environment where every child’s development and well-being is prioritized.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to create a positive, engaging environment.
    Manage daily nursery activities and routines, ensuring that each child receives individual attention.
    Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, ensuring safety and promoting their development.
    Create engaging and educational activities to encourage learning and play.
    Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring that all areas meet health and safety standards.
    Foster positive relationships with children and families, promoting a sense of security and well-being.
    Work collaboratively within a team, contributing ideas to improve nursery practice and learning experiences.

    Skills & Qualifications:
    Level 2/3 Qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
    Experience in a childcare setting (1 year preferred).
    Strong knowledge of nursery practices and early childhood education principles.
    Knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and Ofsted regulations.
    First Aid certification is desirable, but not essential as in-house training will be provided.
    Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in children and colleagues alike.
    Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children’s learning and development experiences.
    A compassionate approach to supporting the individual needs of children.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage children and parents effectively.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.

    Experience:
    Nursery: Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
    Childcare: Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

    Education:
    GCSE or equivalent (preferred).

    Schedule:
    Day shift, Monday to Friday
    No weekends

    Salary:
    £24,500.00 - £26,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
    Annual pay increase: Performance reviews and salary increase on April 1st.
