Job Description

  • Preschool Room Leader – Norwood SE27 – Full time 40 hours - £29k-£31k

    This nursery is seeking a dedicated Preschool Room Manager to join our team and provide high-quality care and education for young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment on a full-time basis.

    What we need from you:
    • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a senior nursery or preschool role.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Passion for early childhood education and child development.
    • Understanding of EYFS and OFSTED regulations.

    Your duties will include:
    • Lead and manage the preschool room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive setting.
    • Oversee the planning and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
    • Support and mentor a team of practitioners, fostering professional growth and development.
    • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a positive learning experience.
    • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and regulatory requirements.
