Job Description

  • A nursery in Henley on Thames are looking for a Third in Charge to join their team.

    The position will all be 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

    Shifts worked between 07:30am and 6pm.

    Offering a joining bonus for full time positions!

    All qualified practitioners would get £2500 (Subject to a successful probation of 6 month)



    3RD IN CHARGE RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. When the Management Team are absent, you will assist the team by taking on the responsibility of Deputy Manager to help to maintain high standards in your nursery and support the Nursery Manager.

    2. Opening and closing the nursery as required

    3. In the absence of the Manager, reporting any safeguarding concerns to the Senior Management team.


    ROOM LEADER ROLE

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Ensure the safety and well being of all children in your care resulting in the total avoidance of preventable accidents and promoting a feeling of security and satisfaction amongst all parents.

    2. Caring for the all round daily needs of the children to enhance their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

    3. Supervise all staff within your room to ensure high standards are constantly achieved.

    4. Contribute effectively to the team maintaining a high level of communication throughout the whole nursery.
