Nanny - 30 hours NE3 NEWCASTLE
A family based in the NE3 area of Newcastle are seeking an experienced childcarer for 3 days a week for their baby.

They must have good baby experience, and preferably nanny experience, although may consider a mature-thinking nursery professional if the right fit. They are looking for someone who is light hearted and easy to get along with as both parents can work from home. They are looking for someone who is a good listener, follows parental wishes and routines, and can also happily offer new ideas. A nanny who can use their initiative to understand when parents need some time for work and can keep their child happy and entertained, and observe when parents are occupying baby, or whilst baby is sleeping, and will naturally attend to duties such as cleaning and setting up activities. The nanny should be a competent cook, and able to help with meal prep for the baby and the family if needed.
Housework included in the role will include tidying the kitchen, emptying the washing machine, keeping the babies play and sleep spaces clean and organised, general organisation and help, and care for the family pet as needed. The role is offered for 30 hours a week, ideally across Wed, Fri and Sun/Mon. No night care is required although babysitting will be a bonus. The Nanny will need to be a driver with their own car to get to activities for the baby.
The Nanny's duties will include:
- Full day care of the baby, a mixture of sole charge and shared care.
- Prepare food - homemade nutritious meals.
- Help the babies' achieve their milestones with activities and games that are age appropriate and focus on cognitive skills.
- Plan and attend local classes, play groups and play dates.
- Incorporate lots of outdoor play opportunities
- Keep play areas tidy, normal nursery duties to include keeping the nursery clean and tidy and taking care of laundry.
- Happy to support with home and pet care needs
Start: Summer 2025
Days: 3 days per week (i.e Wed, Fri and Sun/Mon)
