Early Years Practitioner – Permanent Full-Time Position
Location: Hebdon Lodge, Burnsall, BD23
Hours: 40 hours per week, over 4 days (between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Tinies Childcare Agency is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant childcare setting at Hebdon Lodge in Burnsall, BD23. Key Responsibilities:
Create stimulating, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities and experiences to support children’s learning and development.
Use your in-depth knowledge of child development to observe, assess, and plan for individual children’s needs, ensuring they reach their full potential.
Collaborate with the team to create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children, families, and colleagues.
Promote the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children in your care, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and other professionals, communicating effectively at all levels.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve practice and ensure a high-quality environment for children.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Possess a strong understanding of child development and be able to apply this in practice.
Be a team player, with a friendly, proactive, and “can-do” attitude.
Have previous experience working in an early years setting with children aged 0-5 years.
Be committed to creating a nurturing and safe environment where children feel valued and can thrive.
Understand the importance of safeguarding and child protection, with a commitment to promoting the wellbeing of all children.
Be flexible and adaptable, able to work across a range of shifts within the nursery’s opening hours.
