An opportunity has risen for a Nursery Manager position in CM20. If you are enthusiastic, caring, creative and have a genuine love for the children’s development, this is the role for you!
The role requires a broad knowledge of childcare and development of children, and extensive experience of leadership and staff management to lead a team of practitioners, as well as being able to effectively represent the setting. This role is a full time role, 40 hours a week with a salary from £32,240 per annum depending on experience.

What we need from you:
• Minimum full and relevant level 3 qualification as defined by the Department of Education on the Early Years Qualifications List. • DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector. • Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate. • Safeguarding training and qualification. • Minimum of 3 year’s post qualifying experience. • Minimum of 2 year’s management experience.
Your duties will include:
• Oversee daily operations of nursery facilities and staff. • Ensure high-quality education and care in line with best practices. • Maintain compliance with Banana Moon policies and procedures. • Adhere to legislative requirements and educational curriculum standards. • Aim for the highest possible inspection grading through continuous improvement. • Train, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain ambitious teaching and care standards. • Provide ongoing professional development and training opportunities. • Foster a positive, supportive work environment. • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting for children. • Ensure families feel confident entrusting their child to the nursery. • Support children’s development through engaging and enabling environments. • Drive nursery profitability and maintain high occupancy levels. • Actively market the nursery and engage with the local community. • Deliver excellent customer care to families and stakeholders.
