  • This beautiful village hall-based nursery, rated GOOD, offers a family-friendly environment for children and staff alike. The nursery features open and spacious indoor areas, a wonderful outdoor space, and scenic meadows nearby for walks. The setting includes one large hall and two side rooms, operating as a semi-pack away facility. Staff and children enjoy breakfast and tea together, fostering a strong sense of community.

    We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification and be committed to providing high-quality care and education to young children. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Thursday for 36 hours per week. The nursery is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the nearest train station and offers onsite parking.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Take charge of a key group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
    -Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to support the development of young children.
    -Plan and provide effective care, teaching, and learning experiences.
    -Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children.
    -Work in partnership with colleagues, parents, carers, and other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children.
    -Make accurate and effective use of assessments, reflecting the needs, interests, and developmental stages of each child.

    Requirements:

    -Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification.
    -Enhanced DBS check.
    -Motivated and passionate about early childhood education.
    -Good communication skills.
    -Confidence in working with children of all ages.
