  • Job Title: Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3)
    Location: CB21
    Contract: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 4.5 days per week)
    Hours: 8:00am - 6:00pm

    Salary:
    Level 2: £12.50 per hour
    Level 3: £13.50 per hour

    Job Description:
    We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join our friendly and dynamic team at our nursery in CB21. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, supporting their developmental needs, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
    Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
    Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
    Monitor children’s progress and provide feedback to parents and senior staff
    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery environment
    Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
    Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery

    Essential Criteria:
    Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
    Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting
    Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
    A passion for working with children and supporting their development
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work effectively as part of a team

    Desirable:
    First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications
    Previous experience in a similar role
